Kayley began 'BUSKING', at the age of 17 |
with Crowds always forming from the |
moment she started to sing. In fact
|
this is where we first met when I was |
totally captivated by her voice. |
I know its nothing to do with my Book |
but I just had to add this little medley |
of snippets from Kayley. |
Imagine your walking through a |
shopping mall and standing there in |
the middle of winter, obviously freezing, |
a young 17 year old girl is singing. |
The first snippet made the hairs on the |
back of my neck stand up. |
|
In Kayley's words, "The act of busking,
helped me realize that people didn't
have to stop", "while they shop",
"but they did".
"It inspired me to carry on with 100%
determination", "passion and sometimes
just pure grit". "Especially in the
cold winter months".
"It taught me how to work a crowd" and
"it built my confidence ", "even
if it terrified me doing it".
"All the same", "I have loved doing it
and wouldn't change a thing".
In 1999 she appeared on
Michael Barrymore's
‘MY KIND OF MUSIC’
after being spotted, 'by Michael's
producer', while she was busking
in Kingston.
