Real name Michelle Kinneavy, was born to
irish parents in 1974 in the UK.
One of her grand parents (both of whom
where irish american), "Patrick Connolly" was
a song writer and had a lot of his work
published in the USA.
She says that this is probably where she got
her singing genes from.
She grew up listening to irish and american
music, especially at family gatherings and on
special occassions. 
Mia became so interested in country music
that she got a job with "Country Hits
Magazine" in the UK, where she met
numerous artists from the USA and after
talking to some decided to go to nashville to
record 'I Wanna Be The Woman'.

The song with lyrics written by Helen Rae
Cooper and music by Pam Reed and her
husband Keith Reed was recorded at the
'Station West Studio' with 'Chris Crawford'
as producer.
Since recording 'I Wanna Be The Woman'
